About Cheryl Jones:

Cheryl knew at an early age that doing hair was her passion in life! She graduated from BOCES hair school in New York where she grew up and worked in New York State for five years before moving to Tennessee. For fifteen years Cheryl worked alongside her beloved sister-in-law doing hair in Smyrna Tennessee. She moved to Capella’s Salon when it was still Hi-Lites and worked here for five years until March of 2012, she took an opportunity she had always dreamed about and bought the Salon with her husband of twenty years Erick Jones. As the new and excited owner, she then changed the name from Hi-lites to Capella’s which in Italian means “hair” in honor of her Italian roots. Amongst many of her talents, she really enjoys doing formal hair styles, and specializes in long hair, perms and color! She is a very family oriented person and loves to make those around her smile and laugh. Being the perfectionist she is, she strives to make sure her clients are always happy and smiling when they walk out the door. Cheryl holds true to her long time motto: “How old you are is your business, how old you look is my business.”
